From now on the city of Mississauga, in the Ontario region of Canada, will be famous as the city of the biggest board game ever build in the world.
In fact, a man named Luanga Nuwame, created a massive board game of 900 square feet setting the Guinness world record for "the largest board game ever build by one man".
That's a really big board game!
It's called In Search of Sauga and represents the city of Mississauga, with a detailed reproduction of its streets, boroughs and businesses, all in a massive board game.
In Search of Sauga board game was installed in the city hall, the Vic Johnston Community centre, and took up the entire floor.
The previous Guinness world record was established by Hasbro company, but it was only for the largest board games structure ever build.
Now, Luanga Nuwame, not only detains the large board games structure ever build, but also the record for the biggest board game ever realized by one man.
Luganga creation is not just a board game, is an modern art installation and an exciting recreational activity for all Mississauga community.
If you want the opportunity to play the biggest board game in the world, or if you want take a look to the man who've made all this you can contact Luanga Nuwame on the Sauga official website and register for the tournament. In search of Sauga is one of the few board games in wich persons can use their own body as the playing piece.
I really would like to play this piece of board games history, but unfortunately I’m from London and Canada it’s not so close, but if you live in the Ontario region you should visit Mississauga, and take a look to this amazing creation, the Sistine Chapel of all Board games, or maybe you can register for the next tournament.
Even if the Sauga board game was installed in the Mississauga Community Centre, the city didn’t endorse the initiative for legal reasons and Luanga did all the work by himself.
Now he should be very proud of his huge board game creation and of the new Guinness world record, that comes as the perfect reward for his hard work and gives to tourists one new 900 square feet big reason to visit this lovely city.
